e' .. IMVHO (if) you want a workable analogy to Athersys and by similarity stem cells as a science, you have to (again, imho) go look at how new (/disruptive) technology gets established and emerges from the heap of mankinds activity on the planet into new and productive activity; for example.. the light bulb, DC/AC power, the radio, the computer... this is where "stem cell tech" is. This is the most important factor in how ATHX moves forward as a stock. IMHO the science has now moved forward (from a perspective of 'time-to-invest'). The leaders (and also-rans) were butchered since '07, the leaders (the kill me if you can and I emerge stronger leaders) remain. ATHX is one of these (one of the few in the USofA). As in any new science there will be set backs, failures, however, after each lesson the science moves forward and the leaders THEN "own the technology". ATHX is a steal at these levels, if one has the patience AND if one believes in the potential of stem cells.
