Will publication in peer reviewed journal then be delayed further pending: enrollment, completion of enrollment, passage of another period of time to obtain results, analyze results, insert them into manuscript and have peer review revisions etc? A seeming never ending process that takes an unknown amount of time.

I will answer my own question: I do not know the answer(s).
