We don't support the Assad government. Which is causing a problem . We don't support Iran, which has also caused a problem.
Now, Saudi Arabia (Sunnis') are against Sunni ISIL or any other Terrorists, mostly, remember the 'terrorists hurt Muslims the most and in so many ways both at home and their image all over the world. They threw Osama bin Laden out .. finally. Now, what is public and known is that they are setting up this 'fighting the 'terrorists' schools'. OH, I know what I forgot, many of the nations in the region will and are doing more but they need quiet mouths as they do not want 'some' over there to know 'just exactly what they are doing.

You may or may not remember but there was a falling out between the US and Saudi, due to our non action in Syria, we said we would do something, then we didn't . .and it took John Kerry to straighten out that mess, it went on for some time. Saudi and the US are against Assad. We have asked for him to get the hell out of there, for as much good that did .. .. lol . . ;)
Iraqi's? Only the Peshmerga forces will go into Syria with us.. IF we get and institute a damn good plan.
I don't know of anyone else who would go in with us, unless it would be France .. ;) .. Abbot won't go.. Canada won't go .. don't get me wrong everyone is helping somehow ... . It seems that France is almost ALWAYS the first one there .. and sometimes the only ones there .. ;) .
Russia and Iran. I do realize that both Iran and Russia support the Assad regime. Iran did want to go with us, but of course we turned them down. They are still helping the Iraqis.. but they will not be going to Syria with us.. I think (this is not a fact) that they will be there just as they are there now .. both Syria and Iraq. And who really knows .. who is talking to who .. Russia? supplies all supplies that these terrorists need, including lots of weapons. ..
That is my best understanding today. .. ;) LOLOL .. it's all changeable. It's changes fast too ... ;)
