Just Thinking Outloud: If Anatabine Citrate is natural, it isn't patentable.(old thinking) The FDA says Anatabine Citrate is a new drug.(FDA announcement) Aren't drugs patentable? Right now RCPI has rights to patents that cover manufacturing process and applications, not on the molecule itself. If they could bring forward the 'new' fact from the FDA that Anatabine Citrate IS a NEW DRUG, a patent would put RCPI in the 'big pharma' category(?)
