Broxxton is designed for both Windows and Android.

Where do you have that information from? Bay Trail is for both, Merrifield and Moorefield only for Android (I guess due to graphics driver issues) and Core M, until now, only for Windows (but there were rumors about an Android program for Core I). Cherry Trail could be for both, Android and Windows (uses Intel graphics) but I don't think it is official yet.

Wired.co.uk questioned whether it was strictly fair comparing Core M, which uses the x86-64 architecture that Microsoft's Windows and Apple's Mac OS X requires, to Qualcomm's Snapdragon line, which is based on the ARM architecture used by Android amongst others.

What nonesense.

It is true that comparing Core M against Snapdragon 800 doesn't make much sense from a market segment perspective though. It still shows what benefit one gets when paying the Intel premium for a full OS capable device (compatibility and interfaces).
