Hi Everyone,
Here is the reply I just received from Chuck Provini of Natcore, regarding my and yours' request for an update:

"Dear Michael,
We are progressing with the black silicon, laser back side contacts and our best-of-breed programs rapidly and well. We are in the process of negotiating three different agreements with our attorneys that will hopefully turn into transactions and revenue. We have sent another set of black silicon wafers to both Fraunhofer in Germany and the Chinese manufacturer. Both facilities are optimizing our black silicon to improve the efficiencies and identifying how best to integrate our process into the manufacturing line.

The best-of-breed product is our taking advantage of our many relationships with manufacturers and suppliers of solar equipment and components. Many of these manufacturers are interested in some type of exclusive relationship with Natcore and our technology. We have received many requests to provide panels or cells to countries and companies who are not yet in the solar business. Rather than turning them away, our best-of-breed program allows them to engage Natcore as a consultant to be the general contractor in either a cell fabrication facility, a module facility or an actual power plant. We would optimize the best combination of equipment for whatever project is requested. We would be paid only by the client and not the manufacturer, therefore we would have no bias as to the source of equipment, therefore, best-of-breed. In exchange for this, the facility would have some type of restricted exclusivity for their region. We are currently negotiating with Saudi Arabia, Australia, South Africa, Azerbaijan, Angola, Dominican Republic and Croatia for this type of project. This does not take us away from our primary core business but allows us to generate other sources of income acting as a general contractor. Natcore would be paid a consulting fee as well as a fee above cost for equipment and building cost.
