The growth of solar continues at an ever increasing pace. “by the end of this year, up 36 percent over 2013.” Sunvalley Solar is slowly but surely getting a piece of this pie. “We are currently working on certain major installation projects with a total contract amount of approximately $8 million dollars. One contract in the amount of $900,000 is expected to be substantially completed by the third quarter of 2014. The rest of the projects, in the amount of approximately $7.1 million dollars, are expected to be substantially completed by the fourth quarter of 2014.”

“Solar continues to be a primary source of new electric generation capacity in the U.S., with 53 percent of new electric generating capacity in the first half of 2014 coming from solar. With new sources of capital being unlocked, design and engineering innovations reducing system prices, and sales channels rapidly diversifying, the solar market is expected to drive significant growth for the next few years. GTM Research and SEIA forecast 6.5 GW of PV will be installed in the United States by the end of this year, up 36 percent over 2013.”
