kai-mciggy has a point. Pursuit of obscene profit is a dirty business. The logic you've stated might not apply to a company's pps that is being manipulated by criminals. The Criminals make money on the way down and they'll make it on the way up. They beat the longs into submission to cry uncle, forfeiture, then they jump in at rock bottom and make all the money as they plunder those who think they got duped. This is criminal activity but it's all perfectly legal and done all the time.
