the YOD pricing structure (i.e. $1 to $3 for VOD and $5 per month for the SVOD) is directly targeted to mirror the black market prices....same price better quality/value/convenience.

plus, there have been increasing black market crack downs since around 2010....used to be very easy to pick up DVD on the styreet or in countless shops....now not so much.

when govt looked the other way people did what they wanted...now that that are cracking down and arresting people by the 10,000 of thousands the good people of China know better than to risk the chinses prison system
