The laughable thing about iPay, or whatever it is called, is that it does almost the same thing as the EMV chip readers. It sends a one time token for authorization. The only cool thing it does is keep credit card numbers away from people who physically steal your card. What I would like to see from SMME is something like the wooket (?spelling?) where you can store all your cards under biometric protection cause as it stands now, I don't see how the SMME card is any safer than a standard EMV chip for an internet transaction or from a hack like at the home depot or target.
