I have posted before about the fact that a large percentage of the new drugs coming available over the next few years will have to be cryogenically frozen. I am an investor in Northwest Biotherapeutics,
which has a so far, very promising cancer vaccine. Anyway, as an investor I was listening to their presentation at Rodman Renshaw and found this quote fascinating for this board:

It takes us 8 days to make a batch of 3-5 years of personalized product, and it is frozen in those little bottles. We store it frozen, we ship it frozen. We ship it in containers that are temp stable for 12 days, so if someone forgets about it in the mail room or the loading dock it is no problem...VERY PRACTICAL. Each of our manufacturing sites is at a major logistica hub, in the US it is in Memphis, which is a worldwide hub not only for FedEx, but also UPS.
