Well, I am not sure your information is quite up to date.

Prices for a known artist like Morgan Page will cost $20-$30 a ticket

you can see tickets for this event are sold out.

Sometimes they offer both "early bird" free tickets and general admission tickets nearer to the event.

The Porter Robinson tickets go for $30-$36 a pop. $30 tickets are sold out.

Gareth Emery

tiered ticket prices. some have sold out.

The tickets for carnage cost a lot more than "free." But this will be reported in their Q4 earnings, along with something wicked.

Yeah $35-$40 a pop is very different from "Free or some free and some $5 charge."

But on the whole, company averages $26,000 in revenues per event. They make money not just from ticket sales but also from beverage sales and merchandise. That's how I was able to predict $1.62M in revenues.

Year/Quarter/Total events/Revenues/ revs per show
2014 Q2: 63 $1.655.8 26.28253968
2014 Q1: 48 1,265 26.35416667
2013 Q4: 45 2,212 49.15555556*
2013 Q3: 43 1,145 26.62790698
2013 Q2: 43 1,280 29.767442 **
2013 Q1: 39 1,017 26.07692308
2012 Q4: 44 1,318 29.95290909***
2012 Q3: 37 959 25.93118919
2012 Q2: 40 785.968 19.6492
2012 Q1: 40 829 20.725825

*2013 Q4 average was higher due to Something Wicked.
**2013 Q2 Average was higher due to Meltdown Dallas

2012 revenues per event were on average lower. 2013 revenues per event increase slightly and 2014 seems consistent with 2013.

So if there are some events that are free or they only charge $5 for, it ends up averaging out with beverage sales and some of their $35 priced events.

but like you said, "this is a buy from .07 to .12"
