I never made any excuses for this company. I put up what the DD was at the time, the video's, the science they were presenting, the words Gil was telling, the buys being made by so many Institutions and so on.
If you want to call that excuses, go ahead. Yes, you were at the time stating to be careful. Great, you were right. But don't call what I was putting up excuses. They wer nothing more than reasons to buy and own the stock.
Yes, it pisses me off that they misled, and they did mislead. Now, I am telling what I know about the Company, about the DD, about what the news is...

I have almost made my money back, and think it is a good buy at this price. But also know the science of healing is NOT there. Pfizer has proven it. Or should we buy into the "maybe signs or indications of small healing as recently reported.
I am going to guess that the only people that don't want to read BAD reports are those with a stake. Not a stake in the company as in "owning shares" but as in, selling shares for the company...i.e. Sale side... Or, work for the company and want an artificial high price...Regardless of your position, remember, these sites mean little as to the PPS... Very little...
News will change it, Gil can change it, BJ can change it. Real work can change it. But none of this is happening and it is beyond comprehensible that they just keep on keepin on as is... Almost a joke that they do nothing. What in the world could that many employees be doing ?
All the BS they talked about and nothing. I am just exposing them for what I see them as... Anyone else can post all the good things happening if they know of them ? The fact is, they did nothing for years and I should have caught that, since I didn't, I will make my money back, but NOT move on. People need to know what they are dealing with in Athersys Inc.
The whole stem cell industry looks to be the same... I just did not go deep enough, long enough to catch it... Were coming up on the time of year when they blast with all the great things happening... I know that ATHX will hold off on there data as long as possible if poor. If it is good, we will finish on whatever date, and get results or partial results with 2 weeks. If it goes longer, the only real good data will have to be fabricated, and that can be done.
