No, I didn't mean that. I understand for sure why naive optimism isn't appropriate here, considering the history.
What I mean by "attitude" is something that you and I have been going back and forth about for years.
You demand that "the governance structure be addressed". But there's a point where you have to accept the reality that for a complicated bunch of reasons, it won't be addressed, at least for the time being. I'm not saying that it shouldn't be addressed; I'm saying that it's a fact that it won't be.
That is the situation, and it makes it a little easier to endure the waiting if you accept this fact. And this is where "attitude" becomes helpful.
