david, I agree with you. But I will make a correction to your statement that you may not fully realize. 90% of investor/traders out there use technicals. All stocks are news driven, its the investors that are chart driven. Though the market will always get to the correct price, the path taken is directly tied to the psychology of the investors (which usually means chart).
I think you suffer from the same frustration that I do as a non TA person. You see the value and don't understand why others do not.
As long as a person makes the money they need, there is no wrong way to trade, even if the ideology used is wrong
