I laughed at the intro, before I knew where the story was going cuz ....

The "green" movement started at least 50 years ago long before the young clerk was born. Just show someone pictures of downtown Pittsburgh at NOON in 1955 (imagine nighttime) vs. 1975 (you could actually see the sun on a rare sunny day).

Thanks for mentioning re-using grocery store bags as book covers. I used to do that.

Now I occasionally pay the Maryland five cent bag tax to get my groceries in paper bags which we then use to put our junk mail in and then we put the filled paper bags in the recycling containers for weekly pickup, lol.
