Simple math. If I show up to a candy store with .30 I can't buy the $1 candy bar. CooperVision contacts EPGL thinks they are a 300 million dollar company and realizes Wow! They are a Billion dollar company. We can't afford these guys to buy them out. Holy Crap! Their technology is amazing. Give them what they want so we can be a part of this. We can't miss this opportunity.

That is how I think it went down. There is no other explanation. Oh by the way the development agreement is......."ongoing"......haha no end.
