indepth.....we are actually having the wrong discussion as it pertains to the 13f filing and confidential treatment. In my previous posts I shouldn't even really have used the term "confidential treatment" (because that implies a need to file for such) when what I was meaning to say is that institutional investors holding pink sheet/non reporting/OTC stocks are EXEMPT from filing a 13f.... PERIOD. It's simple.....institutions simply do not have to make these holdings public knowledge. Joe Stocks should have known this....
