Audits do not take this long, especially when a company has no revenue and nothing substantial going on. Either Ed doesn't have the money to pay or no auditor is willing to sign off on this scam. Just because Ed is from Canada doesn't mean Canada will ever trade again, Ed has no control of the regulators and once suspended it is very hard to prove you are a real company again.
I think Canada will never trade again.
