I hope radiologists and other scientists on this board continue to place the Stupps v. Radiation alone S.O.C historical record (and current research insights) into clearer perspective. I've looked at quite a few studies revealing that the Stupp's procedure's statistical results are consistent (though not satisfactory), so my question is what went on with radiation therapy alone? I am hopeful that this question is further discussed by experts such as yourself, because NWBO seems somewhat persuaded it is radiation therapy that is mainly responsible for the drop in CD4 counts.

I also think RT plus DC therapy might ultimately be a better combination (than chemo/RT/DC). My recollection is that DC therapy (if they are not using the autoimmune therapeutic cell variety) can help rebuild certain components of the immune system. I believe RT can be either immunosuppressive and immunostimulatory as well -- depending upon various factors.

We should not throw the proverbial baby out with the bath water.
