The Economist neatly illustrates just how big Africa really is.
Wall maps tend to skew the size of countries making those near the equator appear smaller. The illustration is based upon a previous map, The True Size of Africa, which caused a stir.
Africa is world's second-largest continent. It is rich in resources but is hobbled by poverty and poor governance.
