Welcome to “HempZone”
Emerging Business & Health Opportunities at the first Cannabis Capital Summit!
HempZone-Cannabis-Summit
This is an Interactive Business and Educational Venue being held upstairs at the Rockies Venture Club’s Cannabis Capital Summit at Mile High Station. HempZone is sponsored by Hemp, Inc. (Ticker: HEMP) and produced by two local Colorado based business development and venture investment companies, who are focused on developing Alternative Healthcare companies and solutions, and exploring the impact and use of Hemp in Alternative healthcare solutions. HempZone is a “supporting venue” at the Cannabis Capital Summit Sponsored by Rockies Venture Club being held at Mile High Station on Thursday May 29th, 2014.
The mission of the HempZone is to create a “HOLISTIC” approach to cannabis by educating investors and empowering entrepreneurs to create jobs and opportunities with “industrial hemp”—the true engine and economic force of the cannabis industry.

HempZone Features:
The Venue will feature four areas of education and information for Cannabis Capital Summit Attendees:
To introduce the Denver and the greater Colorado business community to the economic power and potential of Hemp, (in both Industrial and healthcare sectors of the marketplace).
To feature four “Best of Breed” Hemp companies/founders with various Hemp production or product supply enterprises.
Provide a variety of Hemp educational opportunities to enable Cannabis Capital Summit attendees to get a well rounded and professional introduction to Hemp and its potential.
To introduce a fund and its Hemp business development initiatives for driving alternative healthcare companies and solutions.
Overview of Hemp:
Hemp is a commonly used term for high growing varieties of the Cannabis plant and its products, which include fiber, oil, and seed. Hemp is refined into products such as hemp seed foods, hemp oil, wax, resin, rope, cloth, pulp, paper, and fuel. There is a wide spectrum of knowledge between farmers, entrepreneurs, policy makers and investors as to the uses and impact of hemp. Given its recent legalization – and symbiotic relationship to marijuana – we think it’s an appropriate time to introduce a “HempZone” event that is dedicated to education on the plant, the industry at large and the entrepreneurs building businesses with it in Colorado and across the country.

We will be featuring four separate “exhibition areas” in the HempZone that would be staged in the upstairs Mezzanine Floor Meeting Space. The upstairs room has two entrance and exit openings just outside of the stairwell on the north side of the building. (See the Photo at right). Cannabis Capital Summit attendees will be able to walk through from left to right and see a variety of educational and exhibitor tables about HEMP, Industrial Hemp, Medical Hemp, etc.
HempZone-FloorPlan
1. Hemp LAB
In this area we will feature a large table with hemp experts explaining all of the parts of a hemp plant. What are the differences between the stock and seeds and explain where the products actually come from. For future cannabis investors, this educational overview will help outline the life cycle and benefits of HEMP. Our hemp expert(s) will be on hand to answer questions as well as have a panel presentation where they explain “what investors need to know” about industrial hemp in Colorado, Kentucky and across the country.
2. Hemp Lounge
This will provide a space for investors and attendees to sit and relax and network with each other where we will feature Hemp related literature, reading materials, flyers, and brochures of Hemp companies, services, and resources..
3. Hemp Theater
Here we will showcase the Documentary Film “Bringing it Home”. Why?, because Hemp History Week is from June 2-8, several days after the Cannabis Capital Summit.
Documentary Overview: A bringithomefather’s search to find the healthiest building materials leads him to the completion of the nation’s first hemp house. Hemp with lime is a non-toxic, energy efficient, mildew, fire and pest resistant building material. The drawback — industrial hemp is currently illegal to farm in the U.S.A. Industrial hemp is a non-psychoactive plant, grown in 31 other countries that makes 1,000's of sustainable products and offers solutions for global warming, nutrition, poverty and deforestation. Here in the U.S., hemp could be a money-making crop for farmers and create jobs. But why can’t we grow it here? BRINGING IT HOME tells the story of hemp: past, present and future and a global industry that includes textiles, building materials, food products, bio-plastics, auto parts and more.
4. Hemp Exhibitors
Will feature a number of “Best of Breed” Hemp companies that are defining the hemp industry.
