I think we need to slow the cart down a bit..
As much as I would like to see a deal between Wal-Mart and VIIC, we need to be reasonable with what we are throwing out on the board. And in my opinion I don't think a deal with Wal-Mart is what is stated here.

It is known that there is an agreement in the works with the Port of Houston. And Just like at the Port of Long Beach there are carriers that are contracted with the port to move containers to facilities outside of the port terminals and also back into the port. TTS-I would be one of these carriers and they also happen to be the VIIC's carrier partner at the moment.

"Vision is expecting to sign a similar agreement for the demonstration of 20 trucks at the Port of Houston. The Houston-based grant is designed to demonstrate the movement of containerized cargo between port terminals and Walmart's Houston Distribution facility with Vision's fuel cell electric truck, the Tyrano™. TTS-I, Vision's launch customer, will be the operator of these trucks as well."

So if you read closely what is in the statement and then add up what you already know is fact then you will see that all that is going on here is that Wal-Mart is being USED as part of the demonstration for the Port of Houston. Probably because they have multiple large distribution centers within the range of the trucks and that they would have a huge volume of container goods going to these DC's.

I'm sure they would have to agree to this so that is probably why they are named plus it is good PR for them.

And if you do a little more research on Wal-Mart and alternate fuel trucks you would find this:

This is all just my opinion.
I want to see this company do well just like everyone else because that is money in my pocket.
