Would be nice but I'm not counting on it, in that timeframe anyway...I saw a seperate Korean tech-news website that stated Samsung has no plans to announce QDTV at the upcoming IFA2014 event. I looked thru Samsungs pre-event offerings on the IFA website & saw no mention of QD's there either. That's not to say it can't happen (which I hope it does) , just a caveat in that respect. Display-Mate articles on the subject of QDot commercialization mention that not all makers of forthcoming e-products that contain QD's will necessarily divulge that fact......as you say; we'll see. No-fear; one way or another, our time is coming ;)
