Quoting out of context snippets of California law? Never mind that the beginning of the section from which that quote comes says,

However, nothing in this section shall authorize the individual to smoke or otherwise consume marijuana unless otherwise authorized by this article, nor shall anything in this section authorize any individual or group to cultivate or distribute marijuana for profit.

Frankly, I thought the whole "Look! Another penny stock is doing it, too" argument was a better one and going pretty well.

Not convincing, but still better than quoting law that applies to individuals not businesses. And only quoting the part that sorta sounds like it applies, not the really critical phrases like:
