spent 15 years here doing the humanist's work. anyway, the woman that took these pictures was one i hired and mentored, and am still on her information stream. she got a one-day cake assignment to staff the slater butte lookout today and will have a spectacle in her head forever. phone cameras are changing things in such a way that we seem almost disappointed if there is not video of everything. A dry cold front blew in, and reversed the direction of the fires... you can see the previous spot fires that were ahead of the main front before it was blown back on itself.
