Won't be fully operational until 2015

Since HEMP announced the decortication equipment purchase in May, I've been writing that it would take a long time to move the equipment, install it, and then get it fully operational.

Today's PR confirms that, which the COO of the new plant saying that it won't be fully operational until 2015.

Heck, back on July 3, when Perlowin put out the PR about HEMP's "Bright Future", he's been writing about the equipment as if it was already on the move.

Now, we find that the contract on the new site won't be closed until Sept 2, a week later than what was stated a few weeks ago, and it will take at least 60 days to move and install the equipment.

Here's what I wrote about the move-and-setup process on Aug 2, nearly one month ago:

The mostly fluff PR from yesterday essentially confirmed this, and in addition, bolstered my view that there will be little revenue generated by the decorticator in 2014, for several reasons:

1) The final site has not yet been leased (or bought,) though that may change soon. (The PR stated, "a matter of days").

2) The equipment has yet to be disassembled, let alone moved, reassembled and tested. This project will take at least a month, if not two.

3) In 2014, there will be little hemp to buy, because most of the current crop are small test plantings. (See the quote in that same post of mine, where the University of Kentucky crop will be destroyed).
