HD, I asked Amarin this a few months ago and one of the reasons they stated was because many NRx are actually renewals but they can be classified as new for several reasons. Old script expired, switched docs, or switched pharmacies.

So it could be that new scripts are actually much lower than we see reported, but renewals are solid. Just conjecture but it could explain what we're seeing.

I had the same reaction thinking we'd see renewals go through the roof since everyone says it's so effective and safe.
