It is hard to do. Even with a well connected industry veteran running the company it was a struggle for them to raise money in private placements. Most of it came from the CEO,ex-CEO, my friend, and some of his friends. Prior to Smith Nio had a CEO who worked tirelessly and he kept the market informed. Despite that effort the stock was treading water all the while around the same market cap that Sarissa has now.
