AVOID THIS [Sony] IF YOU OWN THE FIRST ONE!!!

Sony why? I bought this player and found out that I lost the 10
films that I had received with the first one, all gone. I also
bought 3 films and I am only allowed to retrieve 2 of them. That
means I lost 11 films at $35 a piece that's $385 dollars gone! I
see the price has gone to $700 and for the limited free content
5 minute clips, seriously not worth it.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY

I was really anxious to get my hands on the 4K content
What a disappointment

Even with a high speed network, downloading was so slow, the Sony servers are responding so slowly, possibly overloaded

Although some of the free shorts, 2-4 minutes long showed some gorgeous video, it's not worth 7-800 dollars


Just a big disappointment
Will not upscale any content if you are steaming any video from Netflix or other sources

This is Sony's second generation player. They should have done
better than this.

Disappointed


Easy to set up. My internet download speed is 62Mbs, I've been trying to download a 1.8 hour movie for over 36 hours - only 30% completed.

I will try to return tomorrow.

NanoTechs Nuvola NP-1 is a 4K STREAMING Media Player;

Bad Next-Gen Hardware

It takes around a full day to download each and every movie and
around 2 hours to transfer them to my USB external hard drive. My
time with tech support was fruitless as they kept accusing me of
the problem ("Your internet speed must be slow!" they told me over
and over, in spite of the fact that I was clocking it at 180mbps
each time they said it).


...If you own the old unit I implore you NOT to waste your money to
upgrade. Save your money and hope and pray Sony get's their head out
of the 20th century and climbs aboard the new and wonderful world of
fast-trasnsferring files. They desperately need to upgrade their servers
to accommodate...
