Thank you for that response OBP on Liability shift.
Even though they don't mention consumers I am wary. Having been through a hacking scenario I have personal experience that you are guilty till you prove the bank wrong. And by the way they are holding your money HOSTAGE. They are unconscionable what they do to make you prove your innocence. I got lucky in my research that theyskmmed numbers were used 10 minutes from me using the real card checking into a hotel a 10000 miles away. I was lucky I used the card so close to the time they did. Many people are not so lucky. The fact that the law says you are not liable doesn't easily transfer to the banks. They make you prove, on your own investigation that you are not responsible.
That is why this will be the elephant in the bar. That is why most of us invested. SECURITY. I want the best security. I had in my experience little problem dealing with visa rep but they did relatively nothing of help dealing with the bank. The law to protect the consumer meant nothing to them.No criminal involvement at all. And this was over a thousand bucks. So what theysay and what they do is another story. The liability shift is a big deal for us. That was my original point. We will see if I am right soon. Bilboo
