I give up for now,

I just spent about an hour talking about Bill Oldham, Saturn V (under another name), Youssef El-Mansy, etc. the history of some of the late 1970s. Then I went to check on some facts via Wiki or the Net.

And my original long article was blown away. No trace of it.

What's the fucking point of writing more than just "two line repartee, " which is probably why most Internet discussion now consists of such repartee?

The Internet is devolving into "Did so," "Did not," "Fuck you."
