Define "smaller" engines in HP or size. Of course no one would stick one of these units on a 20-25hp Kohler on a riding mower.

The average on the Tyson test was almost 6%. That's with a engine with RPM's constantly changing and many drivers who couldn't keep their foot off the floor because of the way the units made the engine perform. I'd bet tweaking and improvements would have gotten a higher percentage. Facts are the units save FUEL and MONEY plain and simple and with improvements could save more.

Wonder how many TENS of THOUSANDS--Hundreds of THOUSANDS of $$$ Tyson would have saved on the nearly $4.00 per gallon diesel fuel (around here anyway) over the last couple of years?? They had problems with leakage of the units and constant phone calls from we know who. They didn't have a problem with the fuel saved or how the unit made the engines perform.

Lessons learned the hard way...........
