IMO the only credible part of that story is that the US has veto power at the IMF as it requires 87% to pass and we control 15% of the vote.
Silly world back during Brenton Woods to give the USA such power...
They should have known the tie of gold at $35 USD would be broken and the money diluted!
Too bad they did not have the foresight to tie our 15% voting right to our obligation to exchange gold at $35 an ounce for USD in a timely manner
To bad the typical American did not have the ability to exchange USD at $35 an ounce like foreign governments did!
