Hi again Allen.

I would love a clear explanation of W%r and how it relates to volatility and how to find good AIM positions. Any tips?

I 'discovered' Williams %r when I was first starting out with AIM back in 1999.
It is one af very many Technical Analysis measures one could use to help in the Buy Sell decision making process if you're a trader.

When I was trying to learn about TA, I had found the Technical Analysis from A to Z publication by Steven B. Achelis.

I see that he's since publiched a few versions of his books on the subject, but here is a link to a free on line version.

Note that back then I found the whole text online.
Apparently he's turned it into a business. smile

So here's an explanation from Investopedia...

You also asked about stock selection.

Now there's a subject that has been discussed a lot out here.
And I'm no expert, so I suggest you go to Tom's AIM site and peruse that.

Have a good day!

Best Regards, Steve (The Grabber)
