Perhaps you're confused? "Katy", as you call her, is not president of BCIT. She's a Nevada resident agent. Every company incorporated in that state (or any state) must have a resident agent. As the name suggests, they are resident in the state, though the company may not be.
RAs see to filings required by Nevada; they send reminders to the company when things like officer/director lists and the like are due. They're also available to accept service of process. Companies hire them as you might, say, hire a tax preparer.
"Katy" is in no sense a BCIT employee. BCIT's only officers and directors are Megas and Martin Duffy, as they have been for many years.
