The biggest advantage is a lower price point...

PLKD needs to go direct to Publix. There is no need to go through a distributor when you have a large company like Publix who has their own warehouse space and distribution center. Beverage Distributors are middle men for smaller companies who are not able to meet minimum pallet quantities from a manufacturer such as PLKD.

PLKD would then be able to give Publix discounted Truckload pricing, which would then be past onto the end-user (consumer/shopper). Thereby saving the additional 15-20% mark-up that a distributor would need to put on the product before delivering to Publix.

This account would also help boost PLKD's over all production runs, which would decrease the cost of raw materials based being able to buy in bulk. The benefit would be a lower total case cost. PLKD would then be able to put out it's quality product at a much more competitive price!
