Wow, you would think that anyone who lost $150,000 would front Jay the $13.95 to send his letters EXPRESS MAIL that guarantees overnight delivery.

It's for things like important legal documents.

Indeed, many government agencies and courts will accept the DATE OF MAILING of an EXPRESS MAIL document as the official filing date. For one example, the USPTO accepts the date of mailing via EXPRESS MAIL as the official filing date of a patent application. The IRS does the same for tax returns. Most Federal agencies do. As do some courts (I don't know about the local rules of this court though - someone can look them up if they are interested.)

Bottom line is Express Mail would have gotten his letter there by the 14th.

For $10 more in postage.

How sad.

Not that it would have made any difference in the ultimate outcome.

So there's that.

$150,000 into a penny stock. Wow! Just wow!

Anyone out 150 large on this obvious penny stock scam ought to kick the guy a sawbuck so he can use Express Mail next time.
