Since it is so quite, I may respond to your very thought out response. And I agree with your thought process.
But, actions have to be adjusted according to situations.

If you are at the front and CO is providing you all the AMMO you go for your assault.......HIT the ASK. And see them run. May be possible.

But when you are at front with NO ammo. No news no hope and the CEO takes pride in being aloof. Would it not be prudent to fall back let the enemy advance stretch his resources.

Retreat dig in fight at .025- .03 area, You get more shares for your money, and they will have lot more area to cover on retreat.
