Never is a very inflexible term,.....

We shall see,.... as BK has put it - the current outbreak/epidemic in West Africa is probably months from being contained, assuming that it gets contained. It will NOT be contained even in that period of time unless Governments or big NGOs with deep pockets and clout start seriously stepping in.

No matter how well meaning individuals within those West African countries are - they just don't have access to the resources, the people, and the medical equipment they need to get consistently ahead of this virus.

Libera has been a civil-war stricken mess for decades - and only just started to get it's act back together. Nigeria has been a hair's distance from a civil war for years - and if not for influxes of oil and natural gas money they would be in the same mess as Liberia.

Assuming that an Ebolacide can be developed and some minimal amount of safety testing has been completed before the end of this Calendar year - there will still be patients in need of treatment.

So - never say never,.....
