1bill .....hetero familia hypercholestremia is a an under diagnosed lipid disorder that puts 100,000' s of US citizens at risk of early death by heart attack every year
Those who know they are at risk , consult with Cardiologists about the risks and benefits of Statins and devise a strategy to reduce their risk of a heart attack
Those that choose to ignore their risk and rely on the misguided uninformed articles presented by STS's friend Zoe ..IMHO face a far higher chance of an early heart attack ...and they and their families suffer the consequences

I am not defending Statins as a drug for everyone ....know your risks ...be informed ...read BOTH sides of the argument .

Now I await a post from STS with a link to either Dr Nissen Chair of Cardiology at the Cleveland Clinic OR Dr Ballantyne ( who he should know ...Anchor trial ) on the Risks and Benefits of Statins ....and who should be on them
