It's sounds like (I'm sure everyone is reading all the informative articles out there ) that we will be in a northern Iraq, in much bigger way and most probably also northern Syria. It's a shame this appears to work out this way! .. No matter what we do or don't do. I believe, for myself, that my expectations have to be trimmed way way down.. ;) .. I'm always looking for a permanent solution to these problems and finally after all these years I've begun to see that there is no 'permanent' solution to all these problems, they are just ongoing and all we ever have to decide, assuming that we have a government we can trust led by a President that will not tell lies to take us places to kill and be killed ... is which place needs to be cleared out the faster. And which place plans to get to America, anywhere, the soonest? .. And which thugs will kill everyone they can versus some group they are mad at .. and on and on. I believe IS is a threat to all countries, both the east and the west. As far as Syria? .. well, we will just have to put aside our differences and let them join us in the fight. oh so sooo ick! .. but, I'm afraid that one more time we must ask our fine young men if they would go into danger for us once again. I wouldn't if I was one of those young men or older or whatever age brave guys, I truly pray that the Safety Angel goes before them and steps on all IS, so they never have to look at them! .....as for me, I'm a coward, always have been..if there was a cave to hide in I'd be there
Maybe it's just me, but I feel like this scenario will never ever end. It's just the nature of people that the world runs into anywhere.. so depressing. And it goes on for long stretches of time! ..
And then again, maybe all my worries will never ever happen! .. that would be the best scenario ever!
