That was a strong indicator that would seem to support my hypothesis.
They buy up huge blocks at the rock bottom ask, and then as soon as it impacts the bid in a way that may support a price increase they instantly eat up that bid support. Therefore rendering the possibility that investors will buy on the new ask near non existent.
