They're going to be "ex-'pended.'" He may decide not to "give them the business" after all and take them off "pending" status. Reckon they'll miss it? Put out press releases about their dis-appointment?

I don't think anybody will be surprised, unless one of those firms pipes up and complains about having even been mentioned in one of Bill's scammy PRs. Can he even use their names without their permission? I guess if you can sell stock that's never even been authorized or issued (not to mention selling "equity" behind stockholders' backs), you can do anything.
