I missed some of the afternoon trading.
MMs will take stops out if it suits them. Very profitable for them on short momentum swings. They make money by the spread and shares traded. They win both ways when able to take out stops.
I try and use mental stops on all my small cap trades. Don't want to tip the market off to what I may be planning. Even most my large cap trades.
With high speed computerized trading, it's foolish to believe that MMs and other traders won't use the information of your stops against you if they can.
