Doing Business in Mexico DD.

The Mexican government has already addressed the issues with the cartels involvement in mining. The cartels were never a threat to mining in Sonora, Mexico or the Mil-ler mine and have been totally removed from their illegal mining operations in Mexico. The comments regarding the cartels on this board are misleading and inaccurate.

It is interesting to note that the cartels where making $15 a ton profit and that was more money than what they made from all of their other criminal activities combined. Tonogold is set to make between $34.15 and $37.63 per ton, more than double of what the cartels where making and more profitable than what the cartels make selling illegal drugs. These facts are the opposite of what some of the skeptics repeatedly state on this board.

Read Eddie Sugar’s assessment of the business climate in Mexico and specifically the Tonogold iron ore mine; note that Sugar is an experienced mining and resource investor who has literally been involved in billions of dollars worth of deals. Sugars experience is legendary in these sectors and his conclusion is the opposite of the anonymous skeptics who keep repeating the same unsupported gibberish on this board. Sugar made this assessment after personally visiting the Tonogold iron ore mine. This is from the TNGLD 8 May 2014 press release:

Mr. Eddie Sugar (the principle of EAS) said, "Although we were initially skeptical about the investment given the recent publicity in Mexico regarding iron ore, we were very pleasantly surprised to subsequently find a situation almost completely opposite of what we expected. Not only are the Mil-ler and Tonogold teams extremely professional and experienced, our understanding of Mexican iron ore and our skepticism were completely unfounded. We found the state of Sonora to be an extremely friendly place for mining and the supporting infrastructure to be of great quality, which even producers and developers in Australia and America would envy. We are very excited to be part of Tonogold's future and believe they are well on their way to creating a considerable business with a combination of characteristics that are rare in iron ore; strong cash flow generation off of a very small capital expenditure base with the added benefit of very significant production growth potential."

According to page three of the Tonogold 2013 PDF that is on the front page of the TNGLD web site, http://www.tonogold.com/i/pdf/Presentation_Iron_Ore_2013_10.pdf, The Ford plant in Hermosillio, Mexico is employing 3,300 employees with plans to expand that to 4,300 people. Ford is building the Fusion at this plan. Hermosillio is near our iron ore mine and is the Capital of Sonora, Mexico.
