The Simmons family executed the first BLLB P&D. They risked the business but it was a calculated one that they would never be prosecuted. Digital Color Print was an empty shell they purchased (Fla. registered) and used as a vehicle to raise capital. They pumped sales to Walmart, Whole foods, Kroger etc. to purchase I believe a manufacturing facility and the Rose and Ivy brand along with another I can't remember, possibly Simplicity.
The AS was raised to approx. 800M, which I believe it still is. The the OS was 300M. The Simmons sold into the pump (diluted) to raise funds to the tune of around 250M bringing the OS to 550M. I believe someone still holds the balance of the AS but no idea of who. This is all from memory as the original links to documentation of this at Sunbiz.org no longer work. (But were there!)
After the purchases were made information from the company dried up, filings were stopped, and eventually there was no public information. A few years ago the business was dissolved. I don't know how that was possible but it happened. That was the calculated risk I suppose.
If you look through the many posts here this has all been gone over. I don't know now what is driving the stock but it is definitely not the Bell Buckle Country Store or the Simmons family business. IMO Rodney, Brian, Brandy should be in prison for fraud.
I was one of the many early investors who believed in the family, personally speaking to Rodney on occasion, and the business, who I thought would not make me rich- but make a substantial return on investment. Instead I lost thousands.
BE AWARE!! FYI and IMO
