I think sometimes people like to mess with our heads, get our expectations up and get us to react on emotions. I'm trying to learn to let go of the emotions and think first and not to be to hasty in my decisions. Its hard for me cause I tend to be tooo emotional at times, which brought me nothing but heartache and lost monies. Sticking with your own gut feelings and I believe we both will get through this OTC web of games, manipulation, and flat out lies ahead of those that practice deception to get ahead. May be an old saying but Honesty is Still the best policy! Imo You reap what you sow sooner or later. Imo
