Gibby you make great points buddy.

But I have to address a few things for my own edification.

To be clear, I did not sell any WDDD last week. I was only stating the obvious about the risks associated with a company that will only be worth anything from the outcome of patent suits.

- THIS IS A FALSE STATEMENT. THEY ARE A PE. WDDD will make money regardless of the patent play. They have made it this far by living in TKs basement with low overhead, solid clients, and a long history on the field.

I also think that WDDD being a PE (as opposed to a NPE) will help it in the courts and in front of a jury.

- THIS STATEMENT CONTRADICTS YOUR FIRST. However is supports my arguments that WDDD is a PE.

What happened to VRNG, though, is scary for all software companies (including WDDD) in the US. The battle isn't over for VRNG. The judges made a stupid decision imo. That just goes to show that the risk for WDDD is a judge or jury making a stupid decision.

- FEAR PERIOD. You are worrying about the wrong stuff here.

And now companies like ATVI have some encouragement to take this to the stretch...even as far as to appeal a lower court decision in WDDD's favor.

- WE ARE LONG PERIOD. If this is the type of relief ATVI needs from WDDD pressure then they are in a worse place than I expected, on the ropes.

So the VRNG news is very much relevant to the WDDD case.

- MAYBE A BIT. But almost as much as any other patent play that is in litigation. Yes they all have an effect on the playing field but this pitch is very very big.

I disagree that the only 2 reasons for not buying WDDD is because you are dumb or broke. One might just not need to take the risk or not have the risk tolerance that is required.

- WHERE IS THE RISK? Do you really think this will go lower before higher? Given all the big brains thinking the other way?

But I think you were just trying to make a point...which I agree with...that last Friday's news created a good buying opportunity as opposed to being the time to sell out.

- YES. You nailed it. Sorry to be an a$$hole about it but sometimes this board is frustrating.
