Some followup on the Q2 14 Investors CC and more...

Further discussions with the new VP Sales and Marketing gave a thought that the new complete HALO package is likely to have an MSRP of around $65,000. It will be modifiable with approximately 40 Apps that can be turned on or off depending on the end users needs. There is also an added feature capability that puts a camera in a Physical Therapy center that will be used for "follow up" video evidence that will be "piped" into the primary case.

In late July, QVH exhibited at the American Association of Justice (AAJ)annual convention (Trial Lawyers) in Baltimore as a Silver Level sponsor. Dr. D and David Spencer along with other QVH staff also had a booth at the show. In addition to a lot of new ideas, one of the biggest revelations learned from this show was an overwhelming request by Tort attorneys who handle large Medical Product Liability class action cases. For example:

Take a faulty artificial hip. What the attorneys wanted was to be able to use the QVH "product" in the replacement surgery of the faulty hip to be used in test cases to be used either in trial, or as evidence to get a better settlement instead of going to trial (this is where the Company got the idea mentioned above with a follow-up therapy camera tied to the case).

An additional add-on revenue center picked up by David Spencer at the show was a "it would be nice if we had" idea that Spencer ran with. The concept the attorneys wanted was to have a "hands-on" exhibit for the lawyers to use in trial. Prior to the CC, Spencer amazed the panelist (and myself) by tossing a 3D reproduction of a ten inch section of a spine. Spencer made this the night before on a 3D printer from an MRI image. Only upon close inspection did we realize it was not a real section of a spine. This was made with a lower priced 3D printer that Spencer owns. But he assured us that there are higher level printers that can reproduce the spine or any section of bone, so realistic that it will clearly show the problem area's shown on the MRI on the sample. In major cases, it could easily be envisioned that attorneys would pay thousands of dollars to be able to go to court and show the jury both the MRI and the 3d reproduction.

If you listen closely to the very last answer to a question on the CC; that being about how many units did Smith believe we could conservatively move in 2015, I believe you can hear something like 250 before he went into a bit of a stutter. (He was sitting next to Dr. D who I suspect stopped him from finishing the sentence). The Company will be using outside independent distributors who will purchase the units at a discount, it is the current intention to do the assembly internally. Conservatively, an initial gross profit to the company of around 60% per unit was tossed around just for the unit sales. When taking into consideration the number of fluoroscopes in use in just the US alone, a potential market of well into the hundreds of thousands of units is out there.

One last comment which was lightly touched upon on the call. Each HALO unit will be linked back to a Houston "Control Center". In the case of SPIN's own Affiliates, each time the devices is turned on, the Control Center records this with the ability to immediately "pipe-in" the real time feed of what is being produced. So no "cheating" will be possible. In the case of third party units, each unit will also be monitored but only for "quality control" of the unit. Ie. is it operating properly. Not overheating, quality of signal, transmission to the "cloud" etc. In this latter case, HALO will also have an add on revenue source to maintain the real-time and finished production on its secure servers for instant and later access from any authorized computer, pad or cell-phone.
